Dr Max Wilson read physics at Cambridge; he then moved to Oxford to carry out post graduate research using high resolution electron microscopy, gaining a doctorate. Since leaving Oxford, he has held a number of senior management positions both in UK and abroad. In 1999 he joined a growing medical imaging software company, Mirada Solutions, as CEO and played a large part in its sale for $22m.

Nominated by Imperial College, Max joined the Board of Ionscope in May 2003. He was appointed CEO of an e-learning publication company called mwr in November 2003. Under his leadership, mwr has recently produced, in partnership with the Science Museum and Peter Symonds College, a prize winning major interactive learning publication. With two colleagues, he has just completed a management buy-out of mwr.

Max is Chairman of ionoscope limited.
