Imaging

The core application for scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM) is topographic imaging. In particular, SICM specialises in the imaging of soft surfaces in liquid, such as living cells, polymers, lipid rafts etc and as such has particular relevance in the area of life-science ¹’²’.
