SICM Technology
Ionscope's breakthrough technology, differential mode SICM, was developed by a team at Imperial College London and Cambridge University, and enables the ICnano® scanning ion conductance microscope to map surface topography at high-resolution without making contact with the sample. This makes SICM ideal for scanning soft and living targets. Scanning may be performed by moving either the pipette or the sample.
